The helmet industry is continuously evolving to better protect the players who utilize their products. By gaining knowledge from top manufacturers (Vicis, Riddell, Schutt, and Xeinth) and closely working with the NFL’s own data analysts, we learned how their findings are continually being tracked to ultimately build a better game.

Through vigorous monitoring of players and equipment testing, data provides the rocket fuel for all advancements in this technology and safety. Because of the recent evolutions, helmet tech has helped reduce concussions by 25% over the last three seasons (as of 2021). While there is, undoubtably, more work to be done - the NFL and manufacturer efforts are continuously shaping a better tomorrow.
